Amazing lightning barraging the ground with cloud to ground forked lightning. Rarely have I seen a supercell so charged! This is a two exposure stacked image if you are curious. My friend, Steve Rokks and I caught up to this storm (and fled!) last month near Arlington, Kansas.
Amazing night time supercell in Pampa, TX earlier this week! This storm was heading straight for my hotel at 2am.I could see the outlines of the storm every few seconds when the lightning flashed, getting close and closer. I am used to this and it was creepy!
